MARCH 9th to 15th 2026
March 9th-15th | Tauranga, BOP, NZ

More than just films.
A week of cinema, conversations, and culture that brings people together in Tauranga.
WHY TCFF?
TCFF isn’t just about watching films — it’s about experiencing stories that help us make sense of the world we’re living in.
For one week each year, Tauranga becomes a meeting place for voices and perspectives from around the world, where powerful films and real conversations bring people together.
You don’t need to be a film expert — just a curiosity about stories, culture, and the shared human experience.

WHAT MAKES TCFF DIFFERENT?

🎥 Films you won’t see on streaming platforms
Discover bold, independent short films from around the world — stories that rarely reach mainstream cinemas but deserve to be seen and shared.
🎤 Conversations that go beyond the screen
Meet filmmakers, hear the stories behind the films, and take part in Q&As and panels that explore the ideas, challenges, and truths revealed through cinema.
🌍 Global stories, local spaces
Experience world cinema right here in Tauranga — where international voices meet local audiences in an intimate and welcoming festival atmosphere.
🎨 More than films
TCFF is a cultural experience. Through our festival pop-up space, art displays, fashion moments, and creative showcases, audiences can explore culture beyond the screen and experience the creativity that surrounds storytelling.
🤝 A festival built on connection
TCFF brings people together — filmmakers, artists, students, and the wider community — creating a space where ideas are shared, cultures meet, and new collaborations begin.
